KIM BROMLEY (Director) has a BA in Theater Arts and a MA in film production. She directed Sylvia, A Little Night Music, The Diary of Adam and Eve, Urinetown (Best Director nomination BATCC), The Last Five Years and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Novato Theater Company. She directed Next to Normal (Best Director nomination TBA) and Into the Woods (Best ensemble nomination BATCC) in co-productions with Theatre-at-Large and The Novato Theater Company. Both productions were re-mounted at Spreckels Performing Arts Center. Kim has directed The Boys Next Door and Old Money at Ross Valley Players as well as seven new works for RVP's RAW series. Her current directing project is The Miser at Curtain Theatre Company and Pippin at Marin Musical Theater Company. Recent acting credits include: Laramie Project with Theatre-at-Large; A Month In the Country (Anna); You Can't Take it with You (Rheba) and Blithe Spirit (Mrs. Bradman) at RVP; Sightlines (Ruth) at Custom Made; and Gypsy (Miss Cratchitt); Sisters Rosensweig (Sara); The Fantasticks (The Mute) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Levi) at NTC. Kim is a playwright and pitch consultant for After August Entertainment, currently developing content for new media markets.
JUDY WIESEN (Music Director) has been playing piano most of her life and music directing in Marin for almost 30 years. Prior to her work with Theater at Large, she has directed for Marilyn Izdebski Productions, Stapleton School, Marin Musical Theater Company, Novato Theater Company, 23 Elephants, the YES Foundation, and several schools in Marin. In addition to her work at the piano, Judy finds summer camps and trips for students ages 8 to 18. She also enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
LORENZO J ALVISO (Joseph) is an actor and vocalist from Sonoma County. Recent credits include Barnaby Tucker in Hello, Dolly! (Sonoma Arts Live), Sebastian in Illyria, Jean Michele in La Cage Aux Folles (6th Street Playhouse), Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert (Theatre-at-Large), Monsieur D’Arque in Beauty and the Beast (Mountain Play) and David in Company (Novato Theatre Company).
STEVEN KENT BARKER (Pharoah) was introduced to the theater at a young age, Steven studied drama at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, and at College of Marin. He has had roles in 8 Mt. Plays including Curley in OKLAHOMA and Perchik in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. In 2015, after a 30 year absence, Steven returned to musical theater as Horace Vandergelder in the Raven Players production of HELLO DOLLY, and the Spreckels production of THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, winning an SF Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award for his performance. His latest roles are King Triton in Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, Capt. Smith in TITANIC:The Musical at Spreckels, and as Richard Henry Lee in 1776. Steven Kent is a professional singer/songwriter/recording artist, and has released several CDs over the last 20 years, and now tours the country with his Johnny Cash & Elvis Presley tribute show called CASH & KING. www.stevenkentmusic.com
JULIANNE BRETAN (Narrator) has been performing in the North Bay for 10 years; most recently, she played Emily Montrose in a staged reading of Swiss Family Robinson with Ross Alternative Works and The Mountain Play. Favorite roles include Babe Williams in The Pajama Game (MMTC), Kate McGowan in Titanic and Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Spreckels), Natalie in Next to Normal (NTC/Theater-at Large, SFBATCC award), and Cathy Hiatt in The Last Five Years (NTC).
ALISON PELTZ (Potiphar's Wife/Narrator) is a graduate of UCLA’s Dance department and has performed throughout the US and Europe. She most recently played Mary Magdalene in Theatre-at-Large's Jesus Christ Superstar and reprised the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago at Novato Theater Company, having performed the role early last season with the Pinole Players (SFBATCC Award Nominee).Other favorite roles include Diana/Choreographer in Next to Normal (SFBATCC Award and TBA Award nominations for Principal Performance and Choreography) and Baker’s Wife/Choreographer in Into the Woods (SFBATCC Award-Choreography) with NTC/Theatre-at-Large and Spreckles Theatre Company, Little Sally in Urinetown and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors with Novato Theater Company, Winnifred in Once Upon A Mattress (Dean Goodman Award) and Ida Web in Twentieth Century (SFBATCC nomination) with Ross Valley Players, Leona in Do I Hear A Waltz, Fay Apple in Anyone Can Whistle and Ilona in She Loves Me, with Masquers, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie and Charity in Sweet Charity at the SA Playhouse, Flaemchen in Grand Hotel with Contra Costa Musical Theater Co. and Diana in A Chorus Line with Chicago Musical Theater.
SHELLY SKELTON (Narrator) is very excited to be back for another concert with Theatre-At-Large. She loved doing Jesus Christ Superstar last year and is thrilled to be working with this amazing group of people. Teacher and mommy by day, Shelley does shows whenever she can. Last year she was in the Jesus Christ Superstar concert as well as Marin Musical Theatre Company's production of Pippin. She would like to thank her awesome family for their support and letting her do this again!
